RB INTERNATIONAL is an American company located in Chicago, Illinois. We are promoting our American Star Seeds brand with our partner SARL CASAP in North Africa. Our partner specializes in production and sales of vegetable seeds to professional growers. SARL CASAP employs about 100 people strategically located throughout the country with 10 offices to provide professional support to its customers. With increasing sales and rapid growth of the company American Star Seeds has need for a Sales Product Manager Trainee.

The Sales Product Manager Trainee will:

• Assist the International Sales Manager located in the United States to manage all aspects of the total assortment of products that are marketed and sold by SARL CASAP and American Star Seeds
• Maintain excellent relationships with the growers, breeder producers, suppliers, sales and product teams located throughout the region
• Provide technical support in gathering data on products that will be marketed and sold
• Identify key market targets, anticipate major market changes, propose and set up additional opportunities to increase sales
• Assist in the launching of new varieties and products into the market place
• Provide weekly activity reports and bi monthly Skype meetings with the International Sales Manager

Qualifications and skills required:

• Fluent in English and French
• A degree of Bachelor of Science within an agriculture/agronomic specialization with knowledge of vegetable species and its environments (biology, agronomy, genetics…)
• Experience in product management and seed sales in the agricultural business
• Marketing, sales and inventory management skills
• Assist in the planning and management of multiple projects with detailed accuracy
• Problem analysis and resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and common PC-based software skills
• Must reside near Algiers, Algeria
