BASF Agricultural Products North America (APN) manufacturing site located at Sparks, GA is seeking a Site Quality Assurance Manager to manage and lead all quality assurance related activities for the site. Incumbent will be a member of the APN Quality Assurance and of the Site's Leadership Teams.

• Manage all aspects of the site's Quality and Continuous Improvement functions.
• Plan, control and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles such as planning processes, material control, acceptance, sampling and measurement systems.
• Ensure site meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and Responsible Care standards.
• Develop and implement short and long-term site quality assurance strategy and ensure alignment with the regional APN quality strategy creating a holistic approach to quality implementation and harmonization within APN.
• Lead/contribute to quality investigations to ensure true root cause analysis and effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Lead and develop employees in meeting and exceeding organizational objectives in support of a high performance team.

Qualifications

Required:

• BA/BS degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and / or in manufacturing environment to include working knowledge in development and implementation of Quality Systems (ie: ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Lean Manufacturing principles).
• Proven experience and success in developing, leading and implementing organizational changes and awareness.
• Ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of these areas: DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Non Conformance Management, and Supplier Development.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team.

Preferred:

• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and / or in manufacturing environment to include working knowledge in development and implementation of Quality systems (ie: ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Lean Manufacturing principles).
• Lean Six Sigma certification, Auditing/Quality certification.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing of Agricultural chemicals, and/or experience within the automotive or pharmaceutical industries.
