Account Representative

Location: Eastern Midwest/Northeast USA

TJ Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Account Representative to manage a territory covering the eastern Midwest and Northeast USA. The Account Representative will be responsible for managing accounts in the territory and meeting TJ Technologies, Inc. service and sales objectives by creating value for the existing customer base as well as developing new customers.

Responsibilities also include calling on dealers, distributors, and key influencers in the marketplace, developing short and long term customer strategies, and meeting targeted company objectives. This position is responsible for servicing existing accounts, identifying distribution partners, developing relationships with dealer and distributor base, and increasing market share in designated area. Timely reports are required to demonstrate accountability and activity levels. Willingness to travel and participate in company marketing opportunities is required. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills with customers, distribution partners, and all company team members. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and be able to function at a high level in both individual and team oriented customer interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS and MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associate degree in Agri-business and other work experience will be considered
  • Minimum 3-5 years agricultural experience or sales experience, to include agriculture or crop protection and/or account management experience
  • Customer relationship management skills
  • Leadership Skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and effective use of discretion in managing territory
  • Ability to absorb product knowledge and become a resource for customers
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and electronic
  • Other skills: strong presentation, accountability, innovation/creativity, teamwork, time management
  • Selected candidate must be willing to live in the assigned territory
  • Must be willing to travel
