Director of Seed Programs
Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Director of Seed Programs

The position is a full-time, twelve-month, administrative professional appointment located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The successful applicant will:
- provide oversight of all organizational, certification, and financial activities of the Colorado Seed Growers Association (CSGA);
- supervise the managers of the seed certification, seed testing laboratory, and foundation seed programs;
- formulate and implement seed certification policies;
- develop and implement seed-related CSU Extension programs;
- represent CSGA in the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA); and
- provide leadership in interaction with seed industry, commodity group, and governmental agencies.
Requirements include a B.S. degree (M.S. preferred) in an agricultural field or related area; supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills; computer literacy skills; effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include seed industry knowledge and experience; business or financial management experience; experience in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration/cooperation.
