Reporting to the US/Canada Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Promoter is responsible of the development and sales promotion of the entire product range of the company in the Mid-West and South East regions of the US as well as Eastern Canada.

Location:

Position can be based in Great Lakes area or any reasonable location within the perimeter of the mission.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing product field evaluations for both experimental and commercial vegetable seed varieties. Main crops: Carrot, Tomato, Pepper, Bean and Asparagus.
• Follow up established customers and develop new prospects
• Support and service dealer network
• Collect market data and trends within the designated area

Qualifications:

• BS degree in agricultural or related field -OR- Associates degree with 3 years experience in the agricultural area or seed industry.
• Desirable field agronomic background or experience in conducting field research.
• Must have strong communication skills to establish cross functional interaction with Sales, Marketing, and R&D departments.
• Must have a positive approach to working with customers: Growers, Processors and Seed Dealers.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Candidates must be self motivated, team oriented, autonomous and willing to travel extensively.
• Proficiency with PC’s and Microsoft Office products as well as knowledge of database software.
• Knowledge of seed industry would be an advantage.
