VILMORIN, subsidiary of Limagrain Group (6000 employees) is one of the leading companies in the vegetable seeds market for professional growers. Our headquarters is based in France near Angers and through our subsidiaries and activities in breeding, production, and sales our presence is worldwide and our scope international.

Reporting to the American Unit Director, the successful candidate will develop Vilmorin business in selected countries of South America.

Position located in Campinas, Brazil. Other reasonable locations in South America could be considered in exceptional cases.

Main responsibilities:

• To manage our network of distributors.
• To optimize sales through sales management, sales promotion, market analysis, optimization of our product portfolio, implementation of marketing activities, and others.
• To coordinate and implement the development function with Product Managers, Development personnel and /or the research team.
• To define sales and production forecasts.
• To coordinate customer service including product shipments, documentation, credit policies, payment guarantees, and others.

Preferred profile:

• University degree in agronomic engineering or related field.
• Previous sales and general business experience.
• Experience in seeds preferable in vegetable seeds.
• Comprehensive cultural understanding of the area.
• Ability to travel extensively (50% - 70% of the time).
• Analytical, independent, flexible, ethical, competitive, self motivated and goal oriented.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
