Amerland Seed Company is a vegetable seed breeding company located in Woodland, California, seeking 2 motivated Agricultural Research Interns to support our vegetable breeding and trial programs. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in hands-on experience in agricultural research, field trials, and plant breeding.

Location: Woodland, CA.

Duration: May 1 – August 31 (negotiable)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with melon, watermelon, and squash variety field trials and evaluations.
• Support inbred line selection processes.
• Participate in pollination and seed increase activities.
• Help manage field and greenhouse trials, including maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Graduate program in a plant science or agronomy-related fields.
• Basic knowledge of crop science and farm operation. 
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Rate: $25-30 per hour.
