The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Product Management

• Management of product portfolio: setting targets for development of new product in collaboration with Breeders and actively involving himself in the breeding programs.
• Forecast sales with Sales team and set targets for production
• Supply chain management of new/ already established products
• Total Quality Management

Commercial

• Annual Budgeting and relevant follow up to meet business targets
• Performance Management: Motivating team members on the principles of accountability, fairness and differentiation.
• General Administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in vegetables/crops breeding, age group: 40-50 years or
• MBA/ MSc. Biotechnology with 15-20 years of proven record in a seed company
• Fluency with English and Hindi

Compensation

• INR 3.5-5 million p.a.
