ABOUT THE COMPANY

“Azerbaijan Seed Production” LLC is a subsidiary company of the main Agro Holding of Azerbaijan  Republic. “Azerbaijan Seed Production” LLC was established in 2020 in Azerbaijan and the main direction of the company is to improve the seed cultivation in the region. Our mission is to succeed new vegetable varieties (especially, tomato plants) as resistant to diseases and pests, qualified and effective plants.

INSTRUCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSITION

The applicants for the role of  Plant Breeder must be made previously contributions in this area. Based on the requirements of seed consumers, the successful candidate would be responsible for providing new products  (seed)  through the measures of biochemical components and features. İn the frame of your duty,  you will communicate and collaborate with other research teams, and different internal and external customers. Therefore the candidate must be able to work with projects, have wide experience in agriculture, and know the offers of customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A degree in  Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Plant Sciences, or Biology is preferred 
• A minimum of 5  years of the plant (tomato) breeding experience is required
• Data management and analysis in relevant tools.
• Broad knowledge  in seed-producing and supplying
• Specific knowledge in  tomato  production  and food technology 
• Laboratory experience  knowledge for the cases of the detection of variety purity of seed and belonging to other varieties
• Execution  of renewing and development  of vegetable varieties
