About the role

FloraPulse technology is taking off: the world’s top scientists have validated our work and growers are raving about it. We need to update our device firmware and online interface to manage and delight the new influx of customers. We are looking for a talented programmer to take over the improvements in our datalogger firmware and online user interface. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter that likes to solve difficult problems through code. Being a small startup, you will get to work on production code and see your features and improvements immediately impact our customers. Through this very visible role, you will build a portfolio of tangible work and improvements that can land you a job anywhere. You will work alongside our extremely talented engineering team, and learn firsthand what it takes to build and ship a new product. This position will be particularly interesting if you have aspirations of entrepreneurship and want to learn the ins and outs of starting a company.

Required qualifications:

• Verifiable experience writing code in any language.

Preferred qualifications:

• Engineering or related field.
• Experience working specifically with Arduino firmware, JavaScript, or user interfaces.
