ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of an early-stage company, you handle rapid timelines with ease, and thrive on identifying and achieving critical milestones that drive program success. You have a passion for creating and orchestrating workflows across the R&D project life cycle. You will work closely with the Senior Program Manager as part of the Program Operations team to define and execute best practices as Brightseed enters a stage of rapid growth.  

ABOUT YOU

You can organize and oversee multiple projects with precision and a calm demeanor. Your ability to shift quickly on projects to adapt to customer needs adeptly guides the team through the deliverable process. You can evaluate project interdependencies, prioritize tasks and find the critical path for multiple projects. 

YOUR IMPACT

• You are capable of handling multiple programs with workflows spanning biology, chemistry, computation, translation and clinical research, process engineering, and product development
• You are the “glue” between different departments, and create synergy between project teams allowing them to balance multiple priorities
• Because of your successful project management, we run like a well oiled machine and deliver our product with pride and satisfaction
• You have a deep understanding of project management excellence that includes developing detailed timelines, tasks & deliverables
• You empower each member of a project team to decide how to effectively deliver the outcomes of their work because you effectively set expectations
• You see outages in advance to de-risk projects and allow each team to work without confusion or distraction because they know you’re guiding the ship

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in science, engineering or technical field
• 3-5 years experience in project management
• Proven ability to execute project workflows, tools, and systems to deliver excellent results
• Plan and manage the execution of multiple technical projects simultaneouslyExperience in quickly growing biotechnology startups, desired
