Join our client and manage a multi-million euro business at the head of a team of twenty people, in the key position of Breeding Director M/F.   

Missions and responsibilities :

• You are in charge of the programs of several seed species for an annual budget of 7M€. 
• As such, you manage and develop a multicultural breeding team of about 20 people, internationally. 
• You determine goals and objectives for each breeding program and implement the suitable means in line with the company’s global strategy, while ensuring the competitiveness of the varieties on the chosen markets. 
• You ensure the relevance and efficiency of breeding methods and optimize available resources. 
• You are responsible for the budgets (payroll, operating expenses and investments) in your area of activity. 
• You participate in projects on an international scale and within a multicultural environment where you develop solid partnerships.
• You actively participate to the development of the group’s global research strategy.

Profile :

• With over 15 years of experience in research in a seed company, you have developed an expertise in breeding programs and now wish to focus on the managerial dimension of your profession. 
• You graduated with PhD in agronomy or biology and are specialized in genetics and plant breeding.
• Recognized for your benevolence and agility, you are really interested in management and team leadership in a multicultural context.
• You are fluent in English to work in this international position. Fluency in French will also be highly appreciated.
