A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, talented and driven commercial professional
to join our dynamic team and take us to the next level as our new Country Leader for Ukraine. Aside from being responsible for developing and leading all commercial activities in Ukraine, you will take direct responsibility for the management and development of the Sales Team.
This position will be a member for the European Management Team and as such, will be directly involved in the development and execution of the strategic plan with particular focus on establishing a distinct strategic position within the Sunflower and Sorghum markets.
You will be responsible for the control of the local P&L and NWC accounts on the balance sheet making sure that the targets set are achieved in the financial year.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the implementation of long range and annual segment plans to capitalize on Nuseed’s pipeline of hybrids and traits.
- Recruitment, development, and retention of a highly motivated team of professionals that position Nuseed in the top quartile for brand and quality image
- Work across the business functions from business services to R&D to ensure business alignment to key initiatives.
- Develop and manage the Nuseed value proposition with respect to key product launches in the region.
- Lead account management strategies with major customers, industry bodies and influential groups/government entities.
- Accountable for budgets, forecasts, inventory positions, sales, and expenses in the region.
- Oversee successful registration activities in the region.
- Work through the local complaints with QA/QC manager to minimalize the effect of claims against Nuseed.
- Develop a robust Sales commercial policy to deliver the planned targets and make sure that Sales contracts are adhered to in country.
- Ensure that all payments are received on time
Experience and qualifications:
- Agriculture, Business or Marketing Degree
- Extensive related marketing experience with product managers, account management, and senior sales reporting to the position
- Highly developed skills to motivate, inspire and persuade
- Experience with Ukraine market development
- Experience in developing channel strategies with oil processors, confection processors, feed industry and /or food industry
