Commercial Manager, Morroco
Location: Morroco Leading commercial activity of a multinational seeds company in Morocco whose main business is R&D, marketing and sales of vegetables seeds.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Structuring company long-term sales plan and managing annual sales budget.
- Management of customer relations including sales and collections.
- Close contacts with product development persons to follow introduction of new varieties to the market
- Management of a team of 6-7 sales/PD persons
- Setting up sales methodology, distribution channels and after-sale agro technical support system.
- Maintaining country distribution network
- Planning and supporting regional sales
- Intensive country travelling
Position preliminary requirements:
- Experience of at least 5-10 years in the Agro vegetables sector in Morocco
- Agronomic skills
- Academic education in commercial management.
- Fluent English
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent commercial skills in marketing & sales, and leadership of a small team
- Able to manage a sales and expenses budget, prepare business plans, establish and follow up performance indicators.
- Marketing and sales oriented.
- Excellent presentation and easy communication skills
- Experience in working with, growers, agro business organizations, agro trade, and processors.
- Excellent and effective negotiating skills.
- Able to develop a complete marketing strategy and carry it out in a highly competitive market.
- Open minded, creative, flexible and reliable.
