  • Develop asset management plans which support the site growth strategy.
  • Management of Site’s assets and processes deploying the right systems & technology to ensure cost efficiencies.
  • Cooperating with different departments to maximize system efficiencies.
  • Monitoring and managing major assets, equipment’s, and technologies on site to ensure maximum return on investment using the most current technological tools.
  • Supporting the site facility manager in maintaining, improving, and managing the facility to its highest standard.
  • Improving processes which facilitates everyday operations from maintenance requests to preventative activities using current available technologies.
  • Ensuring employee capacity building at workplace to support career development and business expectations.
  • Equip the current warehouse and logistics system with better technologies to improve efficiency and minimize waste using different engineering techniques.
  • Transform current site data management system to more reliable and accessible user-friendly environment for all stakeholders.
  • Supporting production system on improving current processes to achieve targeted results in driving productivity at Alva.
  • Driving innovation and influencing strategic business and production priorities for Alva site.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible in creating a blueprint of all infrastructure of the site to understand the overall site water, power, and network systems.
  • Creating long- and short-term strategic planning for the site capital investments and monitoring system.
  • Create effective long-term system to have alignment with stakeholders on asset management and required investments and improvements.
  • Responsible to upgrade the current site assets in a strategic approach for the site sustainability.
  • Responsible for managing cost centers, and successful execution of different projects.
  • Responsible to create different improvement projects and initiatives to create value driven system for Alva site.
  • Accountable for improving data management, environmental controlling systems and IT infrastructure on site.
  • Responsible to ensure appropriate balance of priorities and resources. work closely with all stake holders to identify high-impact projects, negotiate budgets and timelines, and manage project resources within the budget constraints.
  • Responsible for better communication with all stake holders (internal and external) of their needs proactively for business sustainability.
  • Create a system to manage the site assets and equipment’s performance. develop a proper PM and monitoring system for all equipment’s and services.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policy and objectives, creating a suitable culture of leadership through example, providing, and enforcing directions to the assigned team.
  • Evaluate the risks and controls in the assigned work area, actively participating in the audit and inspections program, receiving training, and training the assigned team according to the needs identified in the management system.
  • Develop and review the procedures related to the HSE management in the assigned area.  Ensure the incidents to be reported, investigated, and corrected by necessary actions, relevant learning lessons to be shared with interested collaborators.
  • Cooperate with the prevention of self-injuries, others’ injuries, and environmental damage.
  • Support the fulfilment of the HSE objectives of the site.
  • Prepare and/or review the procedures related to the management of HSE in the assigned area.
  • Evaluate the risks and controls of HSE for the assigned work area.
  • Define the training needs for employees in order to understand the HSE Management System and requirements.
  • Actively participate in the audit program and support the closure of findings and action plan.
  • Ensure the incidents to be reported, investigated, and corrected by necessary actions, relevant learning lessons to be shared with interested collaborators.
  • Communicate the performance of HSE for the assigned work area.
  • Develop and manage actions to improve HSE performance in the assigned area.
  • Create a suitable culture of leadership through example. Responsible for providing and enforcing directions towards continuous improvement in HSE performance the assigned area.
  • Responsible of quality management, responsible of ensure quality policy and standards in Alva, using resources provided for compliance and proposing improvement plans that need to be aligned to local legislation.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical engineering, or Agricultural Science Engineering,
  • World Class Production Process Techniques or technologies (Programming, Data and inventory Management, knowledge of Electromechanical, electrical and networking system. Etc….)
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Engineering or related science is required.
  • Capable of solving complex engineering problems and implementing new ideas which improves efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Experience in leading big and complex Projects is desirable.
  • Be able to create and update S&OP for all site process.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with machineries is preferable.
  • Skills with Microsoft Suite of Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access). knowledge of Some programming and data management is preferred.
  • Must be Fluent in English
  • Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship
