Context
Sakata Vegetables Europe is a subsidiary of Sakata Seed Corporation (Japan) and is responsible for the development and expansion of the activities across the EMEA area. With our wide array of vegetable seeds, we want to create a confidence-based relationship with our customers, working to our age-old motto of Quality, Reliability and Service.
Among the Sales department of Sakata Vegetables Europe, you will participate to the structuration of our sales network and the development of our turnover.
Missions
Your challenge is to maintain and strengthen our market position in the German spoken markets through sales development to current and new customers. Your personal input will make the difference. Your main responsibilities will include:
- - Intensive contact to main customers
- - Order handling and support in forecast– and budget questions
- - New variety introduction in close contact with Product Development
- - Regular report about market development
- - Complaint handling
This position requires to travel extensively in Germany and occasionally to other EU countries. A close collaboration with the Area Manager will be key. This position is open from now.
Profile
The candidate should have 3 years sales experience, preferable in horticulture with a good knowledge about the vegetable market and its needs. The position requires an important autonomy level and organizational skills with a methodical approach to develop the market and achieve sales budgets. You will also have developed good relational skills to communicate, persuade and work as a team member.
Fluent in German and English and efficient use of office automation tools are necessary.
