Finalité du poste

To developp solutions answering seed production challenges and to participate to their implementation on large scale commercial level with the team.

Missions

Essential duties and responsabilities :

• Manage a production improvement program with objectives, budget, timelines, outcomes and technological transfer
• Find and propose appropriate solutions to the seed production specialists
• Plan, organize and supervise those actions in coordination with production team
• Analyze and present results and conclusion
• Participate in implementing results with the production team
• Participate in projects with internal partners (LVS Group) or external partners (University, agri-technology center, ...)
• Monitor scientific and technical advances in tose areas impacting vegetable seed production

This position will provide extensive international travel (EU, Asia, Africa and South-America)

Profile

Required knowledge and skills :

• Educated in Biology / Agronomy (scientific profile)
• Background in seed business (production, quality, ...)
• Fluent in English, Spanish and French appreciated
• Good inter-personal skills, ability to manage actions in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong team spirit with good communication skills, able to deal with bibliography and make synthesis
• Good computer skills
• Fell comfortable in fields and greenhouses
