Regional Manager (Maize) North BENELUX (m/f/d)

Location: Nagele, Flevoland, The Netherlands


 

We are looking for a Regional Manager (Maize) North Benelux. In this role you are responsible for developing the KWS business (Maize, other foddercrops and services) in the North of the BENELUX.

  • You are managing, motivating a distribution network for seeds and services towards farmers which does cover 100% of the potential market in the area.
  • You do create and keep good commercial relations with the distributors and contractors.
  • You are managing a group of Technical Commercial people in your area which does form together the personalized communication-, promotion-, advisory- and direct sales link to the local market and the practical field.
  • You do organize info-meetings, demonstrations and promotional- and sales activities.
  • You do introduce new concepts in the market which does help the final customer (farmer) to buy our products and maximize their benefits with our products.
  • Central focus in our approach is maximizing farmers benefits.
  • You do keep good relations with the local influencers, officials, consulents, institutes and schools
  • Overall, you do maximize the sales of seeds and services from KWS in the area.
  • You are, together with the other Regional Managers, Account managers, Agro Service, and Marketing part of dynamic BENELUX team which do support and motivate each other and working one program together.
  • You plan your work and work your plan with your group in your area in line with the company wide set frame of business principles and ethics.

We are looking for:

A young mature, creative, energetic, positive thinking, realistic evaluating, commercial manager. A teamplayer, a winner...who does understand the technical needs and farmer mentality but also who does enjoy the spirit of selling.

Your skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Plant science or general agricultural sciences
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business management is an advantage
  • Language :  country language as mother tongue; regional dialect is an advantage; English required, German is an advantage
  • At  least 3 years experiences in a commercial job in the ag-business in the country.
  • Having good presentation and negociation skills
  • Having field and agronomy experiences is an advantage
  • Having affinity and experiences to work with computers(Word, Excel, Powerpoint and e-mail)
  • Having positive experiences with working in a team
  • Having coaching/people management experiences
  • Willing or at least have no problems with daily travelling in the responsible area
