Purpose of the job

Belonging to our sales division, reporting to the Open Field Product Promotor, the successful candidate will have to develop a product portfolio targeting mainly Aguilas Mazaron, Totana, Aguilas Pulpi area. She/he will directly manage the development activity of the lettuce, tomato, rootstock crop in this area.

Missions

Development :

• Manage Product Development according to company rules & strategy. Lettuce, tomato, tomato rootstock will be the main crops of responsibilities.
• Implement lettuce trialing plan, evaluate products, prepare & fill trial evaluation form, propose product price positioning and new introduction sales forecast for the geographical area of responsibility.
• Market analysis, trial & sample management, promotional actions, forecasting.
• Contribute to crop business Plan update

Marketing / Communication :

• Responsible for market data update & knowledge of the main trends for area of responsibility.
• Responsible for local Communication action plan for the geographical area, product introduction in direct contact with the LPP manager.

-Management:

• No responsibilities are foreseen

Profile

Must have:

• Knowledge of the area and market player
• Communication skills, working well in an multicultural environment
• Product vision & goal oriented.
• Solving problem attitude, well organized & synthetic approach.
• Junior with strong interest for field work.
• Knowledge / experience on the lettuce crop.
• Self-starter and pro-active personality.
• Fluent Spanish, speaking English is mandatory.
• Availability for traveling in the area of responsibility
• Senior using Windows Pack office
• Technician degree

This full time position is opened from July 2019 and a long term contract is foreseen.

Based in Aguilas / Pulpi area.
