NorthStar Genetics,
Ltd is pleased to announce that Tom Zeman, Franklin,
Minnesota has been hired as a Ziller Seed District Sales Manager
for south central Minnesota.
“Tom brings a unique background to Ziller Seed and NorthStar
Genetics that we’re very pleased with”, said Dan Hogstad,
President of NorthStar Genetics, Ziller Seed brands owner.
“Tom headed up Harvestland Coop as their Seed Manager for the
past 9 seasons, and has played a pivotal role in Harvestland’s
great success in their seed division,” said Hogstad. “Tom
obviously brings a great deal of leadership into his new
position, and we’re excited to have him lead his dealers into
the 2010 season”.
Prior to his Harvestland experience, Zeman was a Pro Rep for
Pioneer Seed, and has been continuously involved in production
agriculture since 1974.
“The challenges facing the seed industry are significant”, said
Hogstad. “Tom’s familiarity and experience will help us move
Ziller Seed to the next level of family-owned seed businesses.
Along with greatly expanded replicated genetic testing, Ziller
Seed is well positioned to offer great RR1 and RR2Yield soybeans
