Laverlam International announces that BioWorks will exclusively market BotaniGard in the U.S.

.

Butte, Montana and Victor, New York
February 1, 2006

Laverlam International Corp. announced today that BioWorks Inc. will be the exclusive distributor of BotaniGard® in the United States.

BotaniGard, based on the beneficial fungus Beauveria bassiana strain GHA, controls a wide range of adults and larval stages of insects including whiteflies, thrips, and aphids. BotaniGard has a 4 hour REI, no preharvest
interval, is exempt from residue tolerances and makes an ideal resistance management tool since there is no
development of resistance due to its complex mode of action. BotaniGard is also compatible with and can be tankmixed with virtually all insecticides as well as some fungicides.

Production of BotaniGard will continue to occur in the world's largest state-of-the-art facility for the production of entomopathogenic fungi located in Butte, Montana, recently acquired by Laverlam International from Emerald Bioagriculture (formerly Mycotech Corp). This 24,000 square foot plant will continue to produce Beauveriabased
products, including BotaniGard, and develop new mycoinsectides for world agriculture markets.

BioWorks, Inc., a privately held company, provides environmentally responsible, safe and cost-effective solutions to the horticulture industry.
