Ahern International Seeds
is pleased to announce the addition of Ing. Victor Hugo Retes to
spearhead Research and Development in its Celaya branch.
Retes graduated from the Agronomy school at the Universidad
Autonoma de Sinaloa. He will be working with growers in the
diverse regions of Guanajuato, Michoacan, Hidalgo, Queretaro,
and San Luis Potosi. His primary activity will be evaluation of
new hybrid vegetable varieties adapted to the southern region of
Mexico. Retes will focus on the development of new tomatoes,
peppers and onions.
“Victor Hugo Retes has a very good reputation for his work among
growers and other recognized seed companies,” says Kevin Ahern,
President and CEO of Ahern Seeds. “His solid experience will be
a big plus for the growers that we serve in el Bajio.”
