Tobian Tool joins Stauffer Seeds as a district sales manager
Elm Creek, Nebraska
September 19, 2005

Believing Stauffer Seeds offers the top seed corn and soybean product lines available for central and western Nebraska, Tobian Tool joined the company as a district sales manager in August this year.

“I enjoy knowing that I am helping to put the right hybrid on the right farm,” he stated. Stauffer Seeds offers other characteristics he’s enthused about as well. “Their aggressive growth and team-like environment are two key reasons why I joined the company,” Tool said. “Stauffer Seeds is family-owned and that’s a great feature in this industry where all the smaller companies are getting eaten up by ag chemical giants.”

Mike Smidt, director of sales and marketing for Stauffer Seeds, said, “We are pleased to have Tobian on our team. He is an enthusiastic representative for Stauffer Seeds who will serve his customers extremely well.”

Tool previously served as a district sales manager for a competitor in the same area. As he begins calling on prospective Stauffer Seeds dealers and customers, he will be spreading the word about the re-emergence of this respected company. “We offer products from triple stacked trait products to hybrids with Herculex insect protection,” Tool remarked. “Stauffer Seeds has outstanding hybrids for this area and soybeans that perform.”

A graduate of the University of Nebraska – Kearney with a degree in agricultural business management, Tool now resides in Elm Creek, Nebraska, with his wife, Heather.
